One-Year Medical Division Update

It has been a little over a year now since ICON Injection Molding opened our Medical Division to serve the healthcare industry with parts for laboratory use all across the country. What began as 3 presses quickly expanded to 16. The space at our ICON II facility originally designated as the Medical Division was insufficient for the unexpected growth we experienced and this area was expanded outward to encompass approximately 8,000 square feet of manufacturing and warehouse space. In fact, high demand in much of 2020 caused overflow to available presses at ICON I. Though we have faced contraction in 2021, we are continuing to meet the demands that COVID-19 places upon the healthcare laboratory system. Our Medical Division currently employs 27 staff members who work hard to serve 2 of our Top 5 customers, shipping an average of 500 boxes of parts every week!
