Company History

ICON Injection Molding was founded in 2001 by three brothers, Danny, Philip and Steve Kleitsch. All three brothers worked in their father’s injection molding & tooling shop, starting in the late 1970s and learned the old-world craftsmanship of fine tool building, customer satisfaction, and supplier relationships. When their father sold his business, the three Kleitsch brothers came together to start their own company, using their years of knowledge and hands-on experience to create something that would transcend their dreams. The name “ICON” and our lightning bolt motif came from being the first custom molder in the state of Arizona to have electric-hybrid molding machines. Early on, Danny came up with the company motto: “Excellence from Art to Part” and it has shaped the way we interact with customers, suppliers, and employees alike. Now, many members of the Kleitsch family work in conjunction with our team of industry experts and other hard-working employees—what we call our extended family.
